Terms of Service

The terms and data disclaimer governing use of the RapidRoster website and Android application. These are the same terms presented in the app on first launch.

Effective August 17, 2026

1. Third-Party Data Dependency

All data displayed in this application is retrieved directly from external county jails, correctional facilities, and public record systems. Available information is strictly dependent on what individual facilities choose to publish and update.

2. No Accuracy or Completeness Guarantee

Data is provided "AS IS" for general informational purposes only. Information may be delayed, incomplete, outdated, or contain errors originating from external facility systems. We do not independently verify or audit external records.

3. Not an Official Government Record

This application is an independent private service and is NOT affiliated with any government agency or law enforcement body. Do not rely on this app for official background checks, legal proceedings, or law enforcement decisions. Always verify records directly with the holding facility or clerk of court.

4. No Uptime or API Guarantee

We make no guarantees regarding continuous service availability, 100% server uptime, or uninterrupted access to our API. Service may be delayed or interrupted without notice due to maintenance or external source outages.

5. Limitation of Liability

By using this service, you acknowledge that the app developers and operators are not liable for any decisions, actions, or damages resulting from your use of this app or reliance on its data.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use RapidRoster to:

  • harass, stalk, threaten, intimidate, or locate any individual listed in the index;
  • attempt to apprehend or detain any person named in a record;
  • make decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, or other eligibility — RapidRoster is not a consumer reporting agency and its data may not be used for any purpose covered by the Fair Credit Reporting Act;
  • scrape, bulk-download, or resell the index, or place automated load on the service beyond ordinary use;
  • violate any applicable law in connection with the data.

Our handling of information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
